Best Divorced Letter

Dear wife,

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you forever. I've
been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it.
These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you
quit your job today and that was the last straw.

Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had a new haircut,
had cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers.

You ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of
your soaps.

You don't tell me you love me anymore; you don't want sex or anything that
connects us as husband and wife. Either you're cheating on me or you don't
love me anymore; whatever the case, I'm gone.

Your EX-Husband

P.S. don't try to find me. Your SISTER and I are moving away to West
Virginia together!

Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband,

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter.

It's true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good
man is a far cry from what you've been.

I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. Too bad that doesn't work.

I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the first thing that
came to mind was 'You look just like a girl!'

Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can't say something
nice, I didn't comment.  And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago.

About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, and I prayed that it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning.

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out.

So when I hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us
two tickets to Jamaica . But when I got home you were gone. Everything
happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you
always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won't
get a dime from me.

So take care.

Your Ex-Wife, Rich As Hell and Free!

P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this, but my sister Carla was born
Carl. I hope that's not a problem...

My Odd Shape Pizza

DSC00373 DSC00374

I did pizza last week, and being a lazy me, and try to be slightly creative, I did an odd shape pizza instead… I didn’t do the round pizza as the normal ones.. I just feel too bored having the usual shape..

Overall, the pizza tasted good, and the crust is crispy, as I have made it real thin. It’s bit salty as the cheese I use… I used sausages and chicken burger as the ingredient, and opted the veg part, as my family members don’t really enjoy capsicum, chilli, onions and so forth..

I will make more of this, and next, I try to bake the Hawaiian Pizza!

And if you are interested on the pizza?

Base A Base B Base C

1 tsp Instant yeast

60 ml warm water

45 ml milk

1 tsp castor sugar

180 gm plain flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tbsp Butter

3 tbsp tomato paste, 4 sausages, sliced, 1/2 green pepper, sliced.

1 big onion, sliced

300g Mozzarella cheese, grated

5 pips chopped garlic, mixed with 2 tbsp oil

1) Base: Mix A and leave aside till frothy (about 15 minutes). Sift B into a mixing bowl, add A, C and knead till smooth. Leave to prove till double in bulk. Punch down and leave to prove for another 15 minutes. Roll out, pull gently into 3mm thick round sheet (about 22cm). Place onto a greased baking tray.

2) Brush tomato paste onto the base, sprinkle sausage slices, green peper slices, onion slices, mozzarella cheese and garlic oil to top.

3. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 15 – 20 minutes till golden brown. Remove and serve hot.

Note: Filling can be adjusted according to taste, eg. cooked chicken meat, cooked minced beef, sardine or tuna fish…

Homemade Mooncake for sale

My mum and I used to bake mooncakes and give it to our relatives, however this year, I don’t think so. I am considering to bake for sale instead. I have full confidence with the mooncakes that I have been baking, as this is the recipe from my mum.

I am planning to bake / make the following for sale:-

1) Single Egg Yoke Lotus Mooncakes – RM40.00 for 4 pieces (a box)

2) Mixed Nuts Mooncakes – RM35.00 for 4 pieces (a box)

3) Dragon Fruit Jelly Mooncakes – Price TBA

4) Mini Ping Pei Mooncakes – Price TBA

It’s now the 6th lunar month, and I have approximately 2 months to take order and plan for the necessary ingredients.

For KL and PJ, I have got someone that willing to do the delivery for me, however for those further than this, I will have to arrange via trustable courier services, which I am in the midst of selecting. For any purchase of above 2 boxes (any type), I will deliver for FREE.. or alternatively, you may collect it from my house.

I can guarantee that the lotus paste are all pure from lotus seeds and not the pre-mix which you can get outside. I never trust those product, as I want pure ingredients in my mooncake.

If you are keen to order, you may email me at cwong77@gmail.com

It is back at life!

I don’t have YOU for about a month, I suffer as I can’t afford to be lazy. I have minimal clothes to wear, my baby has got no enough napkins to use. I sprained my back to wash all with my bare hands. Washing took another hour of my time, which I am lack of time to cook, to boil soup, to blog, to even take care of my baby.

I am glad… and Happy… You are back at life! We only spent RM180 to bring you back to life. Wow.. It’s so amazing to have the Washing Machine fixed!

I love you, My Washing Machine! You done my laundry so well, and all the piling up of bed sheets and others are all cleared!!!

The dry spin compared to my hand squeeze is so much of a difference... I always like to flick my clothes so it won't crumble together, and with the machine, I don't end up having a wet face.. heheh... Also, my clothes are practically dry by noon! hurray!

My love, here your beautiful pictures!

What will be your reaction?

If someone called you a bitch, what reaction will you have?

This happen to me when I was working in Starbucks Singapore.  It happen on one of the eve of Public Holiday, and a few days before my Birthday!

I was under a night schedule, and when I step into the store, I was bit upset due to the partners (baristas) arrangement as I was given a very new partner, and he was still “grabah” to handle big crowd and on top of that, 1 partner did not turn up to work. Since it’s an eve of Public Holiday, I am sure there will be a large crowd.  Anyway, I just put on my apron and when around to start work…

At about 8pm, I saw a group of “executives” walk in to my store and joyfully sitting in the dining area.  I told another partner not to go for her break yet, till this group of customers order their drink and we have served them.  However after waited for half an hour, no sign of buying any drinks.  In my heart, maybe waiting for friend…

So, I let my partner out for her half break (30 minutes), and while having her break, one of the ‘gang’ came over and bought just 1 ice latte.  I signalled my partner to continue her break since it’s only 1 drink.  After another 15 minutes, it’s almost hitting 9pm, and the crowd is getting more and more.

I approached this group of “executive” having a total 13 of them, and what I saw on the table was 13 cups of free water provided by Starbucks, 1 can of green tea, and 1 can of chrysanthemum tea.  Wah.. tahan… I got to give my best customer service.. I offered to do a table service (bear in mind, there is no this kind of service in Starbucks), I am prepared to take their order and later deliver to their table.  All they need to only give me a credit card.

Guess what they told me, they say they are still waiting for friends!!!  Wah, damn angry la… but still tahan… I told them they have been here for more than 45 minutes and no drinks bought.. one of this cheapskate man have the nerve to raise his drink up and say, “I got one drink wat”!  Wah, na beh.. I pun suan them a bit la.. I told them for 13 of them, they are not going to just share a Ice Latte right?

Then, one of them say they will come to the counter.. OK, I walk back to my counter then.. While walking back, I heard “pling ling pang lang”.. this group of “executives” leaving wor… Aiya, nvm la, no mood liao.. just walk back to arrange the seats la.. and suddenly, one lady was brushing over me.. and she pass a remark  “What a bitch”…

OH… like that ah… I rush to the glass door, tap on her shoulder…

And I told her… “thanks mam.. not easy to be a bitch nowadays”… and I just SMILE… hehhee….

You can imagine how her face look like?  charcoal also kalah ah… :)

and you all must think I am crazy right, being called a bitch also I say thank you… but for me BITCH stands for:-

B  -  Beauty

I  -  Intelligent

T  -  Talented

C  -  Charming

H  -  Horny!!!

ooi.. people praise me with 5 strong good points with just a word.. of course have to say thank you right…

Right after the public holiday, my HQ received complain letter about me… muahahhaa….

HQ called to ask for clarification, I just ask HQ, what would you do if you are called BITCH?

HQ did apologised la (corporate trick) but the customer dare not turn up!!! muahahha….

Pregnancy Q&A

Q: Should I have a baby after 35?
A: No, 35 children is enough.

Q : I'm two months pregnant now.  When will my baby move?
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.

Q : What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A: Childbirth.

Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
A: So what's your question?

Q : My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.

Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.

Q : Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my wife is in labor?
A: Not unless the word "alimony" means anything to you.

Q: Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from childbirth?
A: Yes, pregnancy.

Q : Do I have to have a baby shower?
A: Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.

Q : Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and act normal again?
A: When the kids are in college.

So, did anyone thought I am sharing some useful tips?  muahahha… Have a good weekend…

HAVE FUN BAKING… Any question, feel free to ask ya :)

My next attempt... Italian Pizza :)

After having the electronic “helper”…

I blog about my little Princess having this when she turns 5 months old recently, being it can ease myself and I can have more time for others..

So, what else did I do beside blogging?  I have done quite a good completion of my accounts (counting down the number of files left, which then I can collect $$), baking, cooking… and I cleared up 1 big cabinets of empty containers… 1 drawers of cooking utensils and makan utensils…

I baked a birthday cake (for diabetic) as requested by a close friend for her dad’s birthday, I bake another cake also suitable for diabetic for trial, I bake sausage bun for my family members… I cook lontong sayur…  mee suah soup…

Due to  Post “mummy” symptom I forgot to snap a photo of the birthday cake.. but I have the others here to be shown…

DSC00353    DSC00354

It was already near to 10.30pm when I did the sausage roll, therefore bit ugly with the rolling.. muahhaha… :)  but it tasted nice and it’s gone within mere hour… :)

The cake also taste good, as commented by my friend and her family members  :)  I am glad they enjoyed it, or else the daddy will not be able to have cake for his celebration.. :)

The mee suah soup was done at the last minute when I am hungry and found my fridge has fish paste and also minced meat.. mix altogether, and have a nice meal too… (I am nowadays bit lazy, only want to cook “yat wok sok” and it’s easier for me)… :)

And the lontong sayur is for today… muahahha…

See, I can now start the cooking life again with the help of my “electronic cradle” as it took away my need to be around swinging my little Princess  :D

It will be more cooking posts ya.. ;)

Lock your car doorS!

I received the followings in my email today, and just wanted to share again on the importance of locking your car door.  I remembered back then 13 years ago, when I drive, I don’t have the habit of locking my door while I enter the car, however it was much safer then than now.

I got a friend (NH) whom used to hitch a ride home after work, will be my “reminder” to lock my car door and she is paranoid about this matter.  Since she “tumpang” my car, myself also gotten used to the habit of locking my car when I am inside (no matter if the engine is on or off).

Now, with the improvement of the technology, the central locking system is even better, that we can control by stepping on the break, when we enter the car.  So, now if I start my engine, first thing will I do is stepping on the break in order to lock my car.  (this system can be done even your car is not having it from the manufacturer).

I will try to translate the following passages, and hopefully it can create some awareness..

我老婆開車載著我心愛的小Baby去買炒麵 ,

因為車上有 Baby ,

“My wife took the baby out with her to buy fried noodles, and stopped the car in front of the stall to order the food, since there was the baby in the car, she just wind the window and ordered directly.  While waiting for the food to be ready, she played with the baby.  She then noticed 2 young guy came down from the MPV in front of her, and walked towards the rear of her car.  The rear door suddenly had a snap sound, while my wife and baby were happily playing.  My wife had a shock and saw the 2 guys trying to open the car door.  It was good that my wife had a habit of locking the car doors no matter the car is stalled or moving.  When my wife told me about it, I was amazed that this kind of action was done even on a day bright light.  I can’t imagine what would have happen if the car doors were not locked.  Nowadays, bad people will try to attack from the rear of the car as it will be easier to “tame” their victim.  And since you have a baby in the car, you wouldn’t leave the baby and run on your own right?”

“My parents were at the hospital visiting a relative last month, and after collecting their car and paid at the exit, it was a “red” light for a stop.  The central locking system has yet to be activated, and there were 2 young men entering the car via the rear doors.  With immediate reaction, my parents release the seat belts and got down from the car.  They just stand right next to the car.  These 2 young men were still refused to get down from the car, and my mum just told them at the top of her voice that there were still many relatives in the hospital, and should they need them to come down.  The 2 young men then got out from the car and simply apologised and say it’s a wrong car that they have entered.  (how can… they are there to rob)!  Soon, the got into the car that parked next to my parent’s car and sped off.  Scary right?  So, if your car central locking system is not working, lock your doors manually before leaving the parking / house.”

紅燈時 ,

然後車子就騎走了 ,

然後綁架勒贖 !

“I was in the mood to pick up my son from kindy one day, and while at the traffic light (red), I was the third / forth car.  There was a bike approaching my direction and stopped next to me car.  There were 2 young men in their 20s riding the bike.  As normally bikers will move forward to the front, provided they are trying to get some shed from the sunlight, however JB was drizzling that day, and that’s impossible that the bike was under bright sunlight.  What find it weird was that the young men kept looking into my car.  Upon the green light, and about to move, I simply heard them spoken in hokkien that “the car doors were lock” and they sped off.  After hearing this, I was stunt for a moment knowing their intention, and what if they managed to open the door and kidnap my son at the rear?  I have also heard that people entering the unlocked cars to rob the driver, and it will be worse if it became a kidnap crime.

So, my dear friends, it’s just a small action, and remember to lock your car once you are inside.  Do not take risk as the current economy situation is not favourable, therefore people will try finding short cuts to earn a living.  Protect yourself and your family.. spend a bit more time and thoughts for them.. you will never be able to imagine / predict if this kind of stuff will happen on you or your family member!”

I did my best to translate this (not from google translate) ya… and hope to remind my readers on “LOCKING YOUR CAR DOORS”

Post “mummy” symptom

I am a mummy for 5 months now, and I think I am having some memory loss problem already… sigh…

You see, I was supposed to blog on some stuff, and I forgot about it…

I am supposed to buy some baking ingredient, but when I reached the shop, I got to think harder than ever of what to buy…

I am supposed to take the photo of my “first” cake baked for business, and yet, I let the cake taken away without having it snap a photo…

I heated up some soup, and once my little Princess needed attention, I forgot to switch of the fire, and it when dry…

These are only a few things which I tend to forget nowadays.. and I hope I don’t forget how to do my accounts, how to do my baking and how to take care of my Princess…

Muahahaha… some people tell me this is a post “mummy” symptom, which due to our super concentration with our child, we tend to forget there are others living things in the world… charm lor… how ah?  Go buy gingko and “po” a bit first…

Well, don’t worry, I won’t let this symptom sink in… now, I will go and switch off the gas (even the heating is not done) and continue later… muahahhaa…

Something I am proud of

This is a way backdated post, I am carrying my little Princess in my tummy while this happen.

imageimage image image image imageI did these dishes all by myself, while Princess in my tummy actively kicking… and I am glad to see my family members “wollap” everything on the table that day.. *the above was served for a total of 8 person including the one in my little tummy*

I am so proud that I am able to cook all these without much difficulties.  Asking if I still can manage these this year, maybe if my little Princess allows…

When I posted these photos up on my Facebook, my friend commented saying I am crazy!!  muahahha… but I love to see my family members enjoying my cooking lei….

Heong Peah – Ipoh Vs Teluk Intan

I have quite a number of relatives staying up north in Penang, Ipoh and Teluk Intan.  Every time they are here for a visit, or if we are back there for holidays, we will sure buy the “heong peah”.  Recently at the same time, I have both the Ipoh and Teluk Intan “heong peah” at home and after trying out, I have the following findings:-

Sin Guan Hoe

Yee Hup

Teluk Intan

Outer Layer

Inner Layer

More Caramel

Less Caramel

Yee Hup has more layer with its dough, therefore when eating, it will start to drop of.  It will also have bits and bits of the biscuits dropping if you are not careful.

Which is more a preference for me?  I prefer to have the one from Teluk Intan which is softer and more caramel inside.. hehe  :)

How I eat “heong peah”?  My mum always says I am bit “gila” with the way I eat it last time.  I will peel off the outer layer, and eat the caramel first before eating the “skin”.  I love the caramel!

So, anyone here favours “heong peah” too?

What’s Yours?

1. Walk up behind girl and point fingers shaped like gun into her back
"You're under arrest!"
For what?
"For stealing my heart."

2. Hi, my name is Chance, Do I have one?

3. are your legs tired?
girl: Why?
because you have been running through my mind all day!

4. "I lost my phone number, can I borrow yours?"

5. Can you give me directions to your heart? I've seemed to have lost myself in your eyes

6. Take a look at the tag on the girls shirt, jacket, etc.
She would say,"What are doing"
resond,"Oh, just checking to see if you were made in Heaven."

7. Pick up a flower and walk over to girl.
"I was just showing this flower how beautiful you are."

8. Is it hot in here or is it just you?

9.Walk up to a guy and say: "Are you from Greece?"
"No" he answers.
"Oh, I thought all the gods were from Greece"

So above are some pick up lines, what about yours?

I wonder how many people receive this email stating on the possibilities of Tsunami on 22 July 2009.  If you do, this piece of information below will be interesting.  I received this via a friend who works in Petrosains (a fun and exciting place that explains science from the dinosaur world till the future)..  The email is as such…

"For the past few months there has been an e-mail going around predicting that a solar eclipse on July 22nd 2009 is going to cause an earthquake in the Pacific Ocean around Japan , which in turn will cause a devastating tsunami that will then hit several countries (Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), India, Sri Lanka, etc)”

“Earthquakes are caused by the accumulation of strain in the earth’s crust due to the motion of tectonic plates. Most hypocenters (the place where the quake starts, directly below the epicentre) occurs at least 5 miles below the surface, for large quakes. Earthquakes are not caused by gravitational pull hence there is no relationship between solar eclipses with the occurrence of earthquakes. Records show that only 2 earthquakes out of 85 large earthquakes occurred during eclipses but these were mere coincidences.

Scientists have not been able to predict earthquakes to date. The Southern California Earthquake Centre (which studies the San Andreas fault all the time to try predict the next major earthquake to hit San Francisco) says “that neither its scientists nor the scientists of any other research organisation in Southern California have ever successfully predicted an earthquake’s time within days, nor do they know how or expect to know how any time in the foreseeable future”. The U.S. Geological Survey also says “Neither the USGS nor any other scientists have ever predicted a major earthquake. They do not know how and they too do not expect to know how any time in the future”.

So what can we summarise?

While there will be a solar eclipse on July 22nd 2009, earthquakes are not caused by eclipses or gravitational pull.

Scientists who have spent their whole lives studying earthquakes still can’t decide when and where one will hit.

Hence, in conclusion, the chances of an earthquake and an accompanying devastating tsunami occurring on July 22nd 2009 are extremely remote.

I hope that the explanation above will allay the fears of some of you who might be in Sabah or Sarawak on July 22nd 2009."

Like that also can ah… Episode No 1

My ex are amazing, so do a good friend acquaintance of mine.. Why I say amazing?  Coz I never know beside my ex that has betrayed my trust, my love and my care, another good friend person indeed can do this too, and it’s not once but twice!

This may be a very long story, depends on how much details I want to post…

Let me start by giving a brief description of how I know NH.  NH was a colleague whom we worked together back 12 years ago.  During that time, we are in different subsidiary, and our office is just next to each other.  Since I stayed near to NH, I will ask if she wanted a lift home every time after work.  We have gradually get closer because of this.  We spend most of our time together during weekends, and sometimes she would invite me home for dinner.  She will then also come to my house for dinner at times.  She will addressed me in front of everyone as “sister”.

I resigned from the Company, and left for Singapore.  Not long after, NH joined me and we have been staying together for at least a year in the same room.  This even make us closer.  Since we are close friends, hence we spend most of our time in Singapore together too.  We knows each other friends, working colleagues and others.

We are not calculative over the money we spend together, and we used to joke if we need to calculate, we will need to buy a piece of cloth to write coz no any book can accommodate all the figures.

Anyway, things goes on and NH left Singapore earlier than me.  She came back for good while I stayed back as I am also holding the PR there.  I came back for good after the death of my dad.  NH was there for me when my dad departed to another world, and she has been very concern about me too.

When I came back to KL, I was without a job.  My previous job has got some relation with NH, at least my boss (S) is a friend of her.  Anyway, NH will keep telling people that I owe it to her for being able to get a job, and she had done me a big favour.  So, I got my first pay, I treat her for dinner together with my boss too.

NH and I go to work everyday as we worked in the same building too!  and we left work at the same time as well.  Since we both take public transport, we normally hitch a lift from another friend, JT.

This friendships remain in good shape till one day, I have some minor changes, and added new friends in my circle.  NH seems not very happy with this, and we gradually have different ways.  I also started to have late working hours, and can never go home together with her anymore.

One day, I don’t know why, our friendship turns sour.  She started to distance herself (which I really got myself so busy at work, and I did not see the reason of this distance).  And her Company decided to move out from the current place to another area.  This will also means that we will not be seeing each other that often.

So, during last CNY in year 2008, NH spent a day gather in my S house with some other schoolmates of them (NH and S are schoolmates) and NH spent a good time “storying” the group about me.  All about me being heartless, me being indebted, me being the bad girl, me being the one that don’t appreciate friendship and so forth…

And these “stories” have gotten me quite a fair bit of explanation to S, which later came to office and asked me about it.  S asked what happen, which I really don’t know till now.  I did not know how I offended her, I did not know how I get her so pissed…

Since then, we do not talk to each other any more.  We are not in contacts any further, however if we see each other, we just say hi and bye.  I just do not want to have anymore incidents to do with her, so that she cannot use my ‘story’ for her friends ‘kaypo’ concern topics.

So, here I got myself betrayed misunderstood me once, however, the biggest blow is the one recently happen…

I think I need to split this into 2 part, as it’s getting longer and longer…

Need Something, talk to my right ear!

I received an email and have a link to this SITE.  Since it’s not a long article, I have copied below:-

Most of us prefer to be addressed in our right ear, and are more likely grant a request when we receive it in our right ear than our left, researchers have found.

The bias is due to brain asymmetry, said Luca Tommasi and Daniele Marzoli of Gabriele d’Annunzio University in Chieti, Italy, whose findings are published online in the research journal Naturwissenschaften.
Although scientists have known for a long time that the right ear is better at absorbing spoken information, most past studies were in controlled laboratory settings, so there was little evidence for the phenomenon in everyday behavior, according to the researchers.

Tommasi and Marzoli studied ear preference by observing nightclub visitors. In one study, they watched 286 revelers while they were talking, with loud music in the background. In total, 72 percent of interactions occurred on the right side of the listener, the researchers found.

In a second study, the researchers approached 160 clubgoers and mumbled something meaningless. They then waited for the subjects to turn their head and offer either their left or right ear. The researcher would then request a cigarette.

Overall, 58 percent offered their right ear for listening and 42 percent their left, but only women showed a consistent right-ear preference, according to the investigators. There was no link between the number of cigarettes obtained and the ear receiving the request in this study.

But in a third experiment, the researchers intentionally addressed 176 clubbers in either their right or their left ear when asking for a cigarette, and reported getting significantly more cigarettes when asking in the right ear than in the left.

Stimuli received in the right ear are processed in the left side of the brain, Tommasi and Marzoli noted. The findings, they added, confirm not only past research with humans, but also with animals. “Our studies corroborate the idea of a common ancestry—in humans and other species—of lateralized behavior during social interactions,” they wrote.

So, next time, speak to someone on the right especially to women?

Durian Crust

It’s now the DURIAN Season! and I believe lots of us here had their fair share of the King of Fruit!

I just wanna share the useful tips on the durian crust.  I think most people know that after eating during, you can use the crust, put some water and salt, drink / gurgle to get rid of the smell and heatiness.  Always hear people says that when Durian season is around, there sure bit lots of high heat and fever.  My cousin will have nose bleed every time he took durian though.

Another way to use the crust, is also put in under running tap water and wash your hand with it.  This will get rid of the smell lingering around your fingers after eating.

Enjoy the durian ya.. :)

Leftover durians are always best kept freeze and eat like an ice cream the next day!

My family loves durian, especially when we have like a small gathering and we wack like lots of durians.

Can’t get me on the phone, SMS!

I am being asked several times how come friends can’t get hold of me on my phone.  Well, I have been busy busy though.  I have an infant to care of, cleaning, washing, cooking, blogging, accounts to do.  Do you think I still have spare time for calls?

At the current moment, my phone is on vibration mode as I do not wish that my phone rings and woke my little Princess up and used up my limited 24 hours per day.  So, if you can’t get me on the phone, please use the SMS mode!  No point calling me few times as if I am able to get to the phone, I will have done it on the first attempt of you calling me.

Let me know what you want.  If I reply your SMS immediately, most probably I able to answer calls.  If you want me to return call, let me know.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not ranting on friends calling me and ask how am I doing, but sometimes, it gets me more irritating when I have people telling me “how come I call you never answer phone”!

If I am still alive, kicking, obviously I am trying my very best to answer each call, however this is no longer my priority!  I have lots more of stuff that I need to attend.  I can’t be carrying my phone all the time just like what I used to.  Now, I have to carry my Princess, then carry my mobile phone.

Previously when I don’t have Princess, my friends know the SMS function, and everybody will SMS each other.  Now out of sudden, this function don’t seems to work anymore?  Sigh…

I am sitting at home, but this does not mean I have nothing to do and very free.  I admit, when I used to stay at home during weekends on my “working” era, I am free at all time, and phone is my best accompany.  Now, not anymore!

Now, I am working with Princess Breanna Sdn Bhd, and it requires me 24 hours, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year with not privilege of annual leave, MC or even emergency leave!

So, my dear friends, please, if you call, and I did not answer on the first few rings, SMS me and I will reply you.  This will also save me some call cost to return call, coz then I know what is that for.  I have to be careful on my spending nowadays too.

I appreciate friends concern, and their care for both myself and Princess.  And I love you guys more, if you can understand me further on this.  Thanks!  muakz muakz

*  I hope I don’t offend anyone here… :)

Oh, I kena!

Count it a lucky day la ah…

I am not a frequent buyer, hence even if it came out, I will just sighed over it, but no to the extend of being “sum tong” aka heartache.

Yesterday, mum ask to go buy wor, since the new member of the family has arrived.  I happily drove her out for a short distance, find a parking lot (wah, when it’s near to 6.30pm, I am sure it’s full of people).  Just pray that when I arrive, there be someone done their business and leave, so I can have a parking lot.  Otherwise, should I illegal double park?

Quite lucky, when I arrived there, someone leaving the place, and nice parking lot.  Park the car.. look around for the lesser crowd… and make a decision… WHERE?  Where?

The yellow colour shop is definitely out, as the crowd is huge… just have to decide between the white and red… Go to the red shop la… I am the 2nd one in queue.  I have the list written at home so I know what to buy…  Ok, kao tim (chop chop karipop) now go home…

It was at about 9pm, when my little Princess is asleep… go check it out… I am not good in seeing too many set of numbers, so I use the tab at the side and check out if I kena… one by one.. all to the drain…

EH… wait wait… got one number similar lei…. OK, kena liao… but what is the payout ah?  cepat cepat go check… guess?  RM3!  (Not even enough to cover losses) but still kena right… still got to go red shop and collect the winning stake…

But, isn’t this a good day? muahaha… Those reading this, no treat coz it’s too small a stake… (after taking deducting the rest of “drain number” I still loss hoh) but when the big ones come (see if I enter that shop again la ah) then I will let you guys know again…

Will you pray for me to kena or you kena? muahaha…

Cookies baking – Sivananda Cookies

Today is a day to thank your master / sifu.  As a yogi (not the bear ah), my mum’s classmates have plan for a potluck to thank our yoga master.  She got a cookbook from India, which prepares vegetarian food.

I bake this cookies (as per mum request) for her to bring to the class and also for the yoga master.  Sivananda Cookies are large, energy-packed cookies are a standard after-class treat at most Sivananda Yoga Centres around the world.  They are very nutritious and make a meal in themselves.

The recipe is:-

250g (9oz) rolled oats

100g (4oz) whole-wheat flour

150g (5oz) brown sugar

50g (2oz) raisins or sultanas

50g (2oz) raw unsalted peanuts

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

1/2 tsp baking powder

200ml (7 fl oz) oil

about 200ml (7 fl oz) water

Preheat the oven to 200C / 400F / Gas mark 6.  Oil two or three baking sheets.  Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, add the oil and mix thoroughly.  Stir in enough water to make a firm mixture.

Take a spoonful of mixture, about the size of a ping pong ball.  Roll it into a ball, place on one of the oiled baking sheets and flatten to a round about 10cm (4in) in diameter.  Repeat till finish.  Bake in the oven for 12 – 15 minutes, until golden at the edges.  Cool on a wire rack.

*  Use sunflower seeds, roughly chopped almonds and / or desiccated coconut instead of, or as well as, the unsalted peanuts.

P/s:  I did not make such a big size cookies, and only make bite size.  Below the photos

Good Samaritan

This is something that happen anytime if you use the Touch & Go card.  Any highway tolls, you come across this happen… and it happen on me yesterday!

I was driving to pick up my youngest brother in Cheras, and knowing the MRR II will be heavy traffic, I use the Cheras toll.  I went from my house, use the Salak South way (now no toll already ma) and make a U-turn and exit to Cheras.  I know this road got toll and I am all ready with my T&G Card.

I have not been using the card for quite sometimes, and do not really know how much I left.  But I am confident that I should have minimum of RM1.00 and the toll is only RM0.50 only.  I pun drive all the way to the toll, and enter the Touch and Go Lane!

Oopss… I was wrong on the balance value, I only left RM0.10 instead of RM1.00.  Gosh, I pressed the intercom button and call for help.. and the conversation went like this…

Me:  Kak, tak cukup duit nak lepas, minta maaf…

A (the toll personnel):  Dik, tak cukup duit, letak double signal, dan reverse.  Pergi kat cash lane…

Me:  Tapi, traffic jam ni…

A:  Tak pe, just reverse je…

I look left, I look right, and I took a look at my rear mirror… put on the hazard light and reverse gear (so people know I need to reverse my car).  Take a look again on my rear mirror, anyone moving?  In my heart, that’s it, sure kena curse like mad… (don’t say you didn’t.. I admit, if I am in this situation, I sure curse)

Then, I saw this car behind me reverse.  I tell myself, really ma fan… nvm la, since he already reverse, and I feel so sorry… Suddenly, the car reversing stop at the side, and I was like.. sei lor, what happen ah?

The guy in the car behind me got down from his car, and walk towards me.. and his face was not very “cheerful”.. I was like.. cham la cham la, this guy want to come scold me liao… heart beat bom bom bom…

You know what he did to me?

Wah.. so nice of him… even for 50 cents la… :p

I was so paiseh, did not noticed his plate, or even his face.. coz earlier very fierce face, bit scared liao.. but if you did met a girl who in a black Myvi, entering Cheras toll about 6.10pm, that’s me la.. and Thank you thank you ah… (as though he read my blog rite) muahaha.. anyway, I really want to thank him, or else I have to reverse my car and a crowd of cars…

If this happen to you (I mean the one behind a car with insufficient fund) what would you do ah?  Next time, TOP UP TOUCH AND GO! :P

What a day

I don’t know what happen today, somehow seems to be very very busy.. I only manage to get my lunch ready by about 2pm, and then only got time to bath.

Today is really busy busy… I manage to get to my laptop only at 2.30pm (usually at 9am), and started the blogging much later.  As I have move my laptop away from Princess, now I got to also walk a bit from my working table to the hall where the little one sleeping in her sarong.

Every time she cry, I will have to walk and give her some cradle move.  My mum says this is because she feels hot, and wanted the move to cool her down.  hah?  she already got a fan blowing directly on her lei… trust me, very soon, my mum will ask me to move her into the air-cond room… see la…

Even my bath time was cut to 5 mins only, coz the little one was making noise and I can hear her from the hall to the bathroom!  The water supply also has a sign of disruption and I have to mix both the heater and tangki water in a pail, in order to bath fast!

I skipped my milk and had 2 half boil kampung eggs, and 3 sausages.  Then had a bowl of fried noodle with lala for lunch.. I only manage to get the soup in the charcoal about 11am (normally by 10am).

And while I blog on this post, the water supply was back to normal.. EERrrr! geramnya!  Ok, back to my accounts now… :p

Finally finish my reports

I have not got time to look into my blog for 2 days.  Been busy with the early month report (which is something I can do at home and earn some $$).  This report will have to be ready and email to the respective person by 5th of every month.

So happy when I email these reports out just now at 00:12 and can go ahead to do my blogs and also answer some comments.  And I can start my blogs visit too!  :)

Now, from tomorrow onwards, will be back to the accounts and I hope I can finalise it by this month, and get paid! yeah yeah!

Meantime, Merryn has introduced me to this new forum, which I have sign up and started with it.  If you have gone to the MyLot and have sign up, you can look for me here.  So, I hope I don’t get too much addicted as Facebook, but if it does, nevermind la, I also try to make some money also ma… :)

My first day at work (after 4 months sitting at home) was good.  This is the first time I ever had a Male Boss! haha.. finally… :)  I am not complaining that female bosses are bad, just that once a while for a change, not bad also ma.. :)

My next consideration is whether I should buy the UBS accounting system and use it for my accounting work.. Its another a thousand investment there.. hmmm… Anybody using UBS and got any comment to share?

How long more to wait ah?

I keep waiting…

You are so eager to meet me on the first day…You keep calling and try to make arrangement…

You came and told us it’s only 4 days…  We are happy to see hear such a quick result.. You say you just need some document to get it done… We follow your request.. No question ask…

Then you sent someone else… He never on time.. He kept us waiting… We got to call you to inform that he is not here yet.. You told us you don’t know about this, and later tell us that the person you sending was drunk the night before and he just got up… So, we waited for his arrival… and we are on the other hand, rushing to airport to send her off..

We manage to get on flight… and she went off… and the rest of us waiting here eagerly… we promise to pick her from the airport with it…

One week gone.. we hear no news from you.. we call you, and only knows that it was delayed.  We are angry, we feel cheated… however, we still continue waiting…

Week over weeks… we keep waiting.. you keep pushing it.. you reminded me on that someone who being irresponsible… how can you guys just not keeping to your words… why like to make us go through all the disappointments?

You keep saying that it’s a problem with the other party, but this is not acceptable.. you should know the procedures…what come first, and follow by what…

However, we were happy beginning of the week when we received your call stating that it will be just mere few more days… and today it’s Friday, and yet, the dream is yet to be materialised…  Why you dumped us again?

This time you are smart, you got someone else to talk to us… but we already lost trust.. if you ever want us to deal with you again?  NO WAY!  We just hope to get our dream come true as soon as possible and cut you off… I won’t even bother to refer anyone to you again!

Please, it’s very inconvenient for us without it….

Now, please pray for the dream to come true fast!

Did I caught anyone again? muahahaha…

How do you decide who to marry ? (written by kids)

I receive this in my email and thought of sharing it here..

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (written by kids)

(1) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. - Alan, age 10

(2) No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry.God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with.- Kristen, age 10

(1) Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.- Camille, age 10

(2) No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. - Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)

(1) You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.- Derrick, age 8

(1) Both don't want any more kids.- Lori, age 8

(1) Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure)

(2) On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. - Martin, age 10 (Who said boys do not have brains)

(1) I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns. -Craig, age 9

(1) When they're rich.- Pam, age 7 (I could not have said it better myself)

(2) The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that. - Curt, age 7 (Good Point)

(3 ) The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.- Howard, age 8 (Who made the rule)

(2 ) It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.- Anita, age 9 (bless you child)

(1 ) There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?- Kelvin, age 8

And the #1 Favourite is........

(1 ) Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.- Ricky, age 10 ( The boy already understands)

KedaiChomel Giveaway

Handmade by Anasfadilah

I was just browsing through and find this giveaway… I blog about a nursing cloth earlier in my little Princess blog, and this is a good grab if I am lucky to be one of the winner…

It’s a lucky draw.. so, we shall see… :)

Anyway, all thanks to KedaiChomel

When I was pregnant with Princess, food has never come cross my path as a crave.. Unlike some pregnant friends, who insisted on wanton mee at wee hours, fried hokkien mee in the early morning and so forth, I do not have. (maybe coz nobody to manja, better not and make myself lagi difficult) muahhaa… so, overall lucky preggy journey.. no hard time.. :)

When I used to work before the birth of Princess, whenever we are stressed, me and my colleague will crave for fried chicken! Not those KFC or McD type, but those you can get from the mamak or Malay mixed rice stall. We will buy just the chicken (and mind you, the chicken is more expensive than buying a pack of rice hoh)

Last 2 weeks, I craved for a week of this fried chicken! and having it twice in a week from the pasar malam! so contented and happy liao.. and I can ask my little brother to go get for me.. muahaha… :) lucky mum was in India, and I don’t have to cook.. so, eat out and have fried chicken lor.. :D

And right after the birth of Princess till now, I am craving for really sweet stuff… I used to only had dark chocolate and now, I only want to have milk chocolate and better those with nuts and stuff… not just chocolates, I will have really sweet Ribena too! I don’t really take sweet stuffs but now is like.. the sweeter the better…hmmm…

I had not had sweet stuff for about 6 months during my preggy (I found out I am experiencing Gestational Diabetes when about 5 months preg), maybe after all the avoiding, now its time to makan cukup cukup? :p

So, what is your crave?
